Picture of the studioHenry Street Pilates teaches real, “classical” Pilates on equipment designed by Pilates himself, essentially unchanged since 1935, called The Tower. The Tower is an elevated mat combined with a series of springs, bars, and handles that allow you to move the body in any number of directions, up and down, in and out, back to front, and side to side. Think of a trapeze act without the Spandex and altitude.

Tower units and master instructors are only found in dedicated Pilates studios, not gyms or health-clubs.

And our schedule is designed for you.

In real life, we’re not movie stars and models. We have to be on the F train by 8:30 or pick up the kids at 2:50. You can drop the kids off, grab coffee at Tazza, take a rigorous Pilates class, and be showered by 10:15. Or take a class on the way home from the office.
